Core PE

S1-4 - Two lessons per week

S5 - One lesson per week

S3 Elective PE

Three additional PE lessons

S4/5/6 National PE

Four additional lessons (3 practical - 1 classroom)

S5/6 Higher PE

Five additional lessons (3 practical - 2 classroom)

Kit Policy

Pupils are required to get changed for all PE lessons.

If a pupil forgets to bring PE kit on two occasions in one term, a lunchtime detention is issued. This aligns with our school policy if pupils fail to bring appropriate equipment to school.

Recommended kit:

A comfortable T shirt / jumper for outdoors

Jacket when appropriate i.e. light rain

Shorts/ Leggings/ Tracksuit trousers

Change of socks

Sports trainers (clean and different from pair worn to school)

All jewellery should be removed

Long hair should be tied back
