Our Pupil Support Leaders are the friendly link between school and community. They are responsible for pastoral care of their pupils within their House, encouraging them to reach their full potential throughout their school career. They form part of a close team with the Depute Head Teacher (Head of House) and House registration teachers. This system ensure that pupil's individual needs can be met and they feel valued within our school.
The Pupil Support Leaders also lead, plan and deliver the Personal and and Social Education programme. Within this, they'll discuss topics such as healthy relationships, substance misuse, progress in learning, careers education and health.
Our Pupil Support Team play a significant role in supporting our pupils who are experiencing problems in their education or personal lives. Parents/Carers have the opportunity to meet our Pupil Support Leaders during parents' evenings where you can discuss any concerns you may have about your child's progress or personal lives. Should you wish to contact the school to make an appointment with the relevant Pupil Support Leader you can contact: pupilsupport@musselburghgrammar.elcschool.org.uk
