We chose UpData (idea 1)
Here is why:
It answers the challenge directly. It turns open data into a clear recommendation and a next step, instead of just showing charts.
It avoids what the challenge asks us not to do. It is not a passive dashboard, anyone can use it by typing one sentence, and it only works with aggregated, anonymous data.
It is transparent. The score is calculated from real data using fixed rules, and the AI only explains it, so every recommendation can be justified.
We can build it now. It starts from data the council already publishes, so nobody has to change their systems.
It can grow. Adding a new neighbourhood or type of business means adding data, not rebuilding the tool.
It has a real impact. It supports local shops and helps neighbourhoods with fewer services (SDGs 8, 9 and 11).
