Session Title: Legacy of Hope Foundation

Session Description: Knowledge Keeper and Elder Adam North Peigan who is also the President of the Legacy of Hope Foundation will be presenting an insightful presentation on the Legacy of Hope Foundation (LHF). The LHF is a nationally led Indigenous charitable organization based out of Ottawa with a mandate to promote and educate mainstream Canadians on the atrocities of colonization as a result of government policy being imposed on the Indigenous people. Participants will learn how we as a school division can develop meaningful partnerships with Indigenous people in moving reconciliation forward for all Canadians.
