This session will explore practical strategies for gathering assessment evidence that informs your teaching, as well as ideas and tools which provide possibilities for evaluation of student progress for reporting. Examples will be shared which relate directly to the “new” Math curriculum at various grade levels and support triangulation of evidence. If time permits, you will have the opportunity to use a template to create a simple, yet valuable, assessment tool that can be adapted to any subject area. You may wish to bring a device to work digitally on your assessment tool.
