The first meeting took place in Savonlinna, September 12th-16th 2016. During the first meeting following activities took place:
- Visits to the Finnish Forest Museum Lusto and Kerimäki Church (the biggest wooden church in the world), city tour
- Cruise on the lake Saimaa (ship Lake Star)
- Nature activities at the Sports Institute Tanhuvaara
The second meeting was in Detmold, 7th-13th May 2017. Pupils worked with a theatre pedagog and created a play that presented how forests came into being. We also visited garden show in Bad Lippspringe.
The third meeting was in Savonlinna September 17th-23th 2017. Programm consisted of visits to Lusto, Metsä-Wood, harvester site. Pupils also cooked and made a boat of wood. They participated in church boat rowing and created an artwork together. Pupils made a great film of everything they worked with during the week.
The fourth meeting took place in Savonlinna 16th-22th September 2018. Programm included Lusto, trekking, camping overnight, orienteering, harvester simulators, cooking and church boat rowing. Pupils also created presentations on different topics.
The fifth and thus the last meeting will take place in May 2019.
