The full By-Laws of the Judiciary Committee can be found on the By-Laws page, but the main goals are highlighted below:
Goals:
To promote equal and fair disciplinary actions: In the case of disputes, the Judiciary Committee will provide a fair and unbiased decision on the appropriateness of the disciplinary action in question, as well as if the student is innocent or guilty.
To foster productive relationships between disciplined students and the Lebanon High School Administration: The decisions of the Judiciary Committee should either aid the disputing student in understanding the decision of the Lebanon High School Administration or aid the Lebanon High School Administration in understanding why the disciplinary action is unfair, which will work to improve the relationship between said student and said administrator.
To educate students regarding the three branches of government in the United States: The Judiciary Committee provides education to students who serve on the Judiciary Committee in democracy, the judicial branch, and formal processes.
