MY TOWN 2020

VIRTUAL FRIDAY

GOODBYE AND FAREWELL

So, this is it. The end of something that turned out to be very different from what we originally planned. It's not a bad outcome, though; quite the contrary. Even though the pandemic brought us to a standstill for a while, we still managed to work our way around it and bring the job to a conclusion we can all - hopefully - be happy with:

In keeping with tradition, the end of something is always the moment when wise and uplifting words ought to be spoken. As such words are well beyond my capacity, I am afraid I can only quote what better speakers have already said. This is Garrison Keillor in his Good Poems:

"Be well, do good work, and keep in touch."

The pandemic won't last forever.
