COLLEGIATE EDU-NATION serves as a P-20 model accelerator, drawing valuable insights from the successes of Roscoe Collegiate ISD and replicating similar positive impacts within partner districts under the CEN umbrella.
Over the past five decades, there has been a notable shift in population dynamics between rural and urban areas. Nevertheless, it is crucial to recognize that the nation's essential pillars - FOOD, FUEL, and FIBER - continue to originate from rural regions. Therefore, the imperative remains to sustain and support rural Texas.
Currently, CEN provides steadfast support to 21 Independent School Districts in Texas and 5 school districts within West Virginia, North Dakota, and Illinois. Our aspiration is to extend this support to encompass 60 ISDs by 2025. This expansion is not only about raising student expectations but also about fostering improved student outcomes. Elevated student achievements contribute to a more robust Texas workforce and the discovery of individual life purposes, while breaking generational poverty in rural America.
Our commitment to offering rural students the opportunity to pursue postsecondary education while remaining connected to their home communities serves as a catalyst for rural economic development.
"As the school goes, so goes the community" underscores the profound connection between educational excellence and the well-being of our communities, particularly in rural America.
