My name is Lisa Mills. I attended Vaughn Elementary in 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade. I graduated from Peninsula High School in 1986, Central Washington University in 1990, and have been happily teaching elementary music for my entire career. I am currently working on my masters in Music Education at CWU and am certified by the American Orff-Schulwerk Association in Levels 1, 2 and 3. My husband, Matthew, and I met in second grade at Vaughn Elementary! Our two children are grown up now, but also attended Vaughn Elementary School.

I began playing the piano as soon as I could reach it, and took lessons from second grade through college. I love playing the piano! I love teaching music to the students here in my community!

My other interests are gardening, archaeology and history, cooking and baking, playing djembe, and taking care of my 15 chickens. My favorite ice cream is chocolate brownie thunder and I love to watch our northwest sunsets.
