Kevin Brookhouser

York School Director of Technology

Kevin Brookhouser, M.Ed. is the author of The 20time Project: How educators can launch Google’s Formula for Future-Ready Students and Code in Every Class: How All Educators Can Teach Programming. He teaches project based learning, digital citizenship, and design at York School in Monterey, California and is a Google for Education Certified Innovator and Certified Trainer, and National Association of Independent Schools Teacher of the Future. Kevin serves on the board of The International School of Monterey. He is a learning animal.

Eric Cross

Science Teacher Albert Einstein Academy Middle School

​Eric Cross is a 7th grade STEM teacher, grade level lead, and ed tech trainer for Albert Einstein Academies, International Baccalaureate schools in San Diego, CA. Eric earned a B.S. from Azusa Pacific University and M.Ed from the University of San Diego. He brings several years of experience working with at risk youth from underserved communities before becoming a middle school teacher. By building relationships with his students, colleagues, and community, he has become an empowered leader in and out of the classroom.




Kern Kelley

Director of Student Agency - EdTechTeam

Starting his teaching career in New Zealand, Kern is the Director of Student Agency for EdTechTeam Inc. and Technology Integrator at Regional School Unit #19 in central Maine. He has provided support to educators for over a decade and has conducted professional development across the globe. He has always loved working with students with a special focus on having them teach others. He advises a student produced support show broadcast at TechSherpas.org. Maine’s Technology Teacher of the Year, he has brought his student presenters the Tech Sherpas to numerous conferences around the world and recently co-authored the Google Apps Guidebook with his students.
