Mrs. Petty's Classes

Welcome!

I am excited to be working with you this year! We have a long and fun journey to go on together this year and I can't wait to share it with you.

Who am I?

I've been an English teacher since 2004 working with both Freshmen and Seniors. I love every book we'll read and I will explain exactly how what we do in class will make you a better college student and/or workplace employee later in life- my goal is to make everything we do relevant.

Lately, I've been working as the site ELD representative and ELD 1/2 teacher. I may be out a few days throughout the year due to some commitments with this program.

I am also the site Technology Coach. This means that I help your other teachers learn how to use technology effectively in the classroom. A lot of what I show them is from what we do in class.
