Warmup & Introductions

1. Open http://edtechteacher.org/apps in Safari and in a New Tab. (Tap and hold a link to see options.) Add to Home Screen.

2. Add this workshop web page to Home Screen. Put these two new Home Screen icons in a folder you create with the title "ETT Workshop.

3. Take a picture of yourself (a "selfie") with the Camera App. Find the picture.

4. Take a screenshot. Find the picture.

5. Please introduce yourself via Padlet, a digital "corkboard"

Double-tap or "+" to create a note. A blank note will appear in top-left corner.
Put your name where it says “Title"

7. Add an additional keyboard language

8. In Privacy, check that Photos, Microphone, and Camera are enabled for apps.

9. In Settings, check if any content "restrictions" are enabled for apps.

10. Go to http://edtechteacher.org/ipads-in-classroom-tom-daccord/ and copy the second sentence in the paragraph.

11. Find the search function on your iPad (hidden at top of screen) and search for Notes app.

12. Open the Notes app and paste the sentence into a new Note.

13. Select the sentence you pasted into Note and "Speak" selection. (Hint: Look in "Accessibility" to "speak" text.)
