ROME RIAN
"Kasama si Natividad, Sabay Nating Haharapin ang Realidad. Dahil kay Rome, Hindi ka Magiging Alone!
PROJECT TITLE: "Kaibigan, Anong Concern Mo?"
Project Description
With the school transitioning back to physical classes after two academic years, students’ suggestions and concerns are vital for the betterment of the school’s management. Therefore, through this project, Sophians’ opinions will be acknowledged.
Rationale
To provide a systemized and official method for students to raise their respective concerns;
To acknowledge the students’ underlying suggestions or concerns;
To make the Sophians feel valid with their opinions, thus, making them stable;
To establish a good connection between the students and the school’s administration.
Mechanism
Through (a.) Google Forms or a (b.) Padlet that is available and open any time.
By the end of every quarter, a Google Forms link will be disseminated to each level by their respective grade level representatives allowing them to voluntarily raise their opinions regarding the previous quarter.
A Padlet will be sent to every section by their grade level representatives that will act as a “freedom wall” of opinions wherein students can type in their thoughts freely and will be sectioned by academic quarters.
Then, all responses will be collected before the next quarter starts and filtered by the project managers (or with the help of other SSG officers).
Once approved, all opinions will be consulted by the SSG president for credibility.
After being consulted, an official compilation of opinions will be given to the OSSA department.
PROJECT TITLE: Peer Tutoring
Project Description
As quarterly examinations brought by the implementation of physical classes are now being continued, a group study with peers before the quarterly assessments will be one of the effective ways to review the lessons, share each other’s learnings with everyone, and create bonds as they do so. A sharing of reviewers would be highly encouraged and would be shared to the whole grade level/strand to aid each other academically.
Rationale
To help each other Sophian to be prepared for the upcoming examinations;
To make them feel that they are not alone in trying their best to achieve a good outcome on the tests;
To educate other students while also educating oneself;
To build or strengthen the bonds of each student with each other;
To have an opportunity to aid each other not just academically but also mentally and emotionally.
Mechanism
If possible, there will be a scheduled date and time of this program before or during the examination week (depending on the subject’s schedule of examination or the whole week’s schedule).
Class officers/advisers of each section will ask the class/block if they want to be part of a group study or not. If there are students that agreed, a group will be formed with a tutor being assigned to a group. For those who want to study by themselves, the created study groups will still be open for everyone or anyone to join.
The program will last until the final day before the last day of the examination.
“Help Each Other, Share A Reviewer” (Sub-program)
Apart from the mentioned program above, a sharing of reviewers for the sake of a whole grade level/strand will be highly encouraged and appreciated. Before implementation, approval of the entire section and adviser is needed.
If approved, a section will be assigned to formulate a reviewer for a certain number of subjects while the other sections will do the other.
Once done, it will all be distributed to each other.
