PROJECT TITLE: Igiling Ang Galing!

Project Description

A dance competition open for Junior High and Senior High School Students. Each grade level will be given a specific theme or type of dance that they will be performing on the official foundation week of Escuela de Sophia.

Rationale

To showcase the High School students’ talents in dancing
To promote the different types of dances of the world
To encourage the students to be physically and mentally active and to have a healthy routine
To help the students connect and interact with their other classmates by collaborating, understanding, and helping each other
To give an opportunity to the students to experience a wonderful feeling of excitement that dancing may bring
To know the capability and strengths of the students
To celebrate the school’s founding anniversary with thrill and excitement

Mechanism

The participants will be given enough time for their preparations. To be exact, 3 weeks before the foundation week, the permission to start the preparation for the contest will be officially announced on the SSG facebook page.
A specific theme/type of dance for each grade level will also be announced on the page.
Students can start preparing and practicing (only within the school premises and not during their school hours, with their parents and their advisers consent).
The participants will show their performances on one of the days of the foundation week.
The participants will be judged for its concept, choreography, performance, and visual aesthetics and music.
There will be 2 awards for each grade level (Best Performance, Best Props and Costume). The winners will receive their recognitions together with their trophies and certificates.

PROJECT TITLE: Start Your Week With Spirit

Project Description

To start a very exciting and interesting week, every Monday, a spiritual bible verse will be posted on the official SSG page.

Rationale

To inspire and motivate the students to start their week with a freshen soul
To spread positivity within the online community
To enhance the spiritual attitude of the students
To inform the students about the words of God
To encourage the students to produce sanity and stability of mind
To keep our soul energized
To help the students to deepen and expand their understanding in the words of God

Mechanism

Every monday (from the start of the implementation), an official edited bible verse will be posted on the SSG page.
