This is my fifth year at Edmentum. I have a Master's in Reading and Literacy and an endorsement in Gifted Education. I have been teaching in all grades K-12 and also have been in various administrative positions for the past 25 years. I have taught in 5 states and in Germany. I have two boys 22 and 16 and I live with them and my dog Bella in Wisconsin.

I have been an educator for over 20 years now and it is a real passion of mine. I live in Pennsylvania with my two teenagers and two dogs; a pitbull/boxer mix named Oreo and a bulldog named Bentley. I enjoy spending time with my family and hanging out at the beach. For the past 10 years I have worked virtually with students and have been lucky enough to work with all elementary grade levels. I love working virtually and being an option for students who choose not to work in the brick and mortar classroom building. We have some amazing technology tools to help learners everywhere find the most success that they can virtually, however our work together this year is truly a team effort. I look forward to working with you all this school year!

Hi! My name is Heather Groom and I I live just outside San Diego, CA with my husband, two children, two dogs, and a cat. This is my 7th year teaching, but it is my 11th year working in the classroom and it is a real passion of mine. I worked with Special Education for 5 years prior to becoming a teacher myself, where I have had the honor of teaching Kindergarten through 5th grade. I am so excited for this school year and look forward to inspiring learning across all subjects.
