This is my seventh year at Edmentum. I have a Master's in Reading and Literacy and an endorsement in Gifted Education. I have been teaching in all grades K-12 and also have been in various administrative positions for the past 27 years. I have taught in 5 states and in Germany. I have two boys 24 and 18 and I live with them, my dog Bella and fiancé , Tim, in Wisconsin.

I have been an educator for 34 years now and it is a real passion of mine. I live in Delaware with my two kids and our dog; a pitbull/boxer mix named Oreo. I enjoy spending time with my family, walks with my dog and hanging out with friends. I have worked in both the brick & mortar classroom, as well as the virtual classroom. I love working virtually and being an option for students who need a different environment other than the brick and mortar classroom building. We have some amazing technology tools to help learners everywhere find the most success that they can virtually. A real passion of mine is literacy and this past year I completed my Interventionist Certificate as an IMSE Orton-Gillingham Certified Educator. I am very proud of this accomplishment and look forward to helping to develop strong literacy habits in students. Our work together this year is truly a team effort. I look forward to working with you and your learning coach this school year!

This is my 12th year in Education and my 6th school year at Edmentum. I previously worked as a Kindergarten-1st grade Special Education teacher and interventionist before coming to Edmentum where I have worked as a Kindergarten teacher then Success Coach. I am excited to return to the teaching role and ready for a great year! I live in Iowa with my husband, my four children (ages 10, 7, 5, and 2), and our dog and cat. We love to spend time outside together, crafting, and baking! I am looking forward to meeting you and getting to know you this school year 🙂
