My name is Mrs. Calvanese! This is my fifth year as a virtual elementary teacher with Edmentum and 18th year teaching. I will be teaching First Grade English Language Arts and Health this year.  I live in sunny Florida with my husband, and college age son and daughter. We also have a rescue dog named Koki! In my spare time I enjoy traveling with my family, reading a good book on the beach, and enjoying all types of food! I have a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education and I am always trying to learn a new tech tool to enhance my virtual lessons and keep them engaging . I am passionate about my students and families. It will be my honor and pleasure to serve you this 2025 - 2026 school year.

My name is Ms. Hauck and  I will be teaching First Grade Social Studies /Science and Math this year. This is my fifth year with EdOptions Academy.  I have enjoyed teaching for 27 years.

 I live in Summerville, South Carolina with my husband, two daughters, golden retriever and chinchilla. I grew up in Ohio, graduating from Miami University and also earned my Master of Arts in Education from DePaul University.  I love working with students and helping build their confidence and learning strategies.  I look forward to sharing stories, exploring social studies and science and helping each student grow this year!
