Dear Edon Northwest Preschool Families,
Welcome to preschool! I am so excited to begin another wonderful school year and cannot wait to meet you and your child. We have an exciting year ahead filled with learning, laughter, creativity, and new adventures. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of such an important milestone in your child's life!
This school year marks my 19th year of teaching and my 15th year at Edon Northwest, and I still love coming to school each day! Preschool is such a magical time as children learn, grow, gain confidence, and discover the joy of learning through play and exploration.
A little about me—I grew up in Montpelier and earned my Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education with an emphasis in Reading from Capital University in Columbus, Ohio. I later completed my Master's Degree in Special Education and am currently working toward earning my massage therapy license.
My husband, Zeb, and I have lived in Frontier, Michigan, for the past 20 years. We have two amazing children, Parker (15) and Zoe (12), who keep us busy with their activities. When I'm not at school, I love spending time with my family, cheering them on, and making memories together.
This year, I will be teaching both the morning and afternoon preschool classes. My goal is to create a classroom where every child feels safe, loved, and excited to learn. We will spend our days exploring, singing, creating, playing, reading, making new friends, and celebrating each child's unique personality. I believe every child learns at their own pace, and I look forward to helping each one grow academically, socially, and emotionally.
I truly appreciate the opportunity to spend each day with your child. It is a privilege to watch them learn something new, overcome challenges, and celebrate their accomplishments—both big and small. Together, as a team, we can make this a successful and memorable preschool year.
Parents are a child's first and most important teachers, and I value the partnership we share. Reading together at home, talking about your child's day, and encouraging their curiosity are wonderful ways to support their learning.
Communication is very important to me. If you ever have questions, concerns, or simply want to share something about your child, please don't hesitate to reach out. I check my email regularly throughout the day and will return phone calls as soon as possible.
Thank you for sharing your precious little learner with me. I can't wait to meet everyone and begin a year full of smiles, discovery, friendship, and fun!
Here's to an amazing preschool year!
Warmly,
Erinne Stump

HI! My name is Mrs. Rummel and I am so excited to be working at Edon Northwest schools. This is my 19th year of teaching. I have spent most of it here at Edon doing what I love. I graduated from Malone University (in Canton, OH) in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education (Pre K-3rd grade) and a K-12 Reading Endorsement. I started teaching at St. Joseph Catholic Schools for two years and then came to Edon. I received my masters from BGSU in Curriculum and Teaching and my 4th and 5th grade generalist Endorsement from Walsh. In 2022, I was able to become an Orton-Gillingham Dyslexia Specialist. Teaching reading is truly my love!
Some personal information. I am married to my high school sweetheart who I met here at Edon, Austin. And we have three children together, our daughter Kyla and identical twin boys Korbin and Kastin. We love living here in the country and the small town life. Most evenings we are found outside enjoying our small farm. We also have a dog, two cats and lots of farm animals. I also spend my time here at Edon planning Prom. We love our busy life.
