Week of October 24-28
WRITING: We will begin some fun Halloween writing projects this week.
LANGUAGE ARTS: This week we are reading "Titanic Lost and Found." This week's story is a yearly favorite we read for pleasure during testing week. Students will learn about the famous ship, and it's tragic sinking.
SCIENCE: This week we will be learning about minerals, how different types of rocks are made, and different ways fossils are formed.
MATH: Our math focus this week will be solving multi-step number stories. There will be several days of instruction centered around this skill.
