Meet Our Staff

Campus Director

Rhonda Bradford - rbradford@responsiveed.com

I have been in the field of education for 31 years. Twenty-four of the thirty-one have been at the administration level. I have served as HS and MS Asst. Principal, HS Principal, Asst. Superintendent, and Superintendent. I spent my career, prior to retiring, in two different school districts, Mayflower School District and the Quitman School District. I retired after 28.5 yrs of service, then returned to the education arena as Federal Finance Coordinator for ResponsiveEd. In April of last year, I agreed to take over the director's position at Quest Academy.

Assistant Campus Director

Stephany Brown - smbrown@responsiveed.com

I am working on my seventeenth year as an educator. Throughout my teaching career, I have taught all secondary science classes for grades 7-12. In 1996, I earned my Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from the University of Arkansas at Monticello. I began working for a school district part-time doing adult education and substitute teaching. I decided that education was my calling, so I enrolled in the Master of Arts in Teaching program at UAM. I also recently completed a program of study through Arkansas State University, and became licensed in the area of K-12 Building Administration.

When I'm not educating, I enjoy spending time with my family; my husband of 21 years, my two sons, and a bonus son and daughter. We enjoy outdoor activities, camping, hiking, canoeing, etc.

Secretary

Hollie Kennedy - hkennedy@responsiveed.com

Jessica Sosnoski - jjones@responsiveed.com

All in all, Jessica is a Francophile, a lover of Medieval history, a lover of poetry and classic literature; she loves gardening, cooking, crafting, and golfing. Her charming, sweet, and intelligent puppies are her children for now; she just adores them. An alumna of University of Central Arkansas majoring in both French and English, she is a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar who started a Masters Degree in Lyon, France at l'Université Lumière Lyon 2 majoring in French Medieval Literature. Jessica is about to be married (March 2018), and this year marks her 10th year teaching in Central Arkansas public schools. She’s taught a myriad of subjects: 6-11th grade ELA, Elementary French, French I and II, Creative Writing, Oral Communications, ACT Prep, CBA, Spanish I, and Keyboarding.

LeAnn Smoot - lsmoot@responsiveed.com

LeAnn Smoot is the 6th Grade Music and Art teacher as well as the Art Elective and Drama teacher. She freelanced in Theater as a play-write, designer, actor, composer, choreographer, director and set painter for over 20 years. She also worked as a designer for indoor and outdoor textural applications in Central Arkansas. She received her BA in Theatre from University of Arkansas at Little Rock with a minor in dance, art and music. She has had the pleasure of representing the arts on morning TV shows, newspaper and magazine articles for her accomplishments in the visual and performance arts.

Math

Meghan Govan - mgovan@responsiveed.com

I earned a Bachelor of Arts from Harding University with a concentration in Early Childhood Education and am currently working towards a Masters Degree in middle level education with focuses in math and science. While working towards my degrees, I was able to coach the throws group for the DII Track and Field team at Harding University with success at both the local and national level. While coaching and attending school I developed a passion for wanting to help students become independent, life-long learners. I hope to teach beyond the content to teach skills my students will be able to use to be successful throughout life. I have been married for the last year and a half. We are expecting our first child, a daughter, this May!

MS English/Journalism

Jessica Chaney - jchaney@responsiveed.com

Athletic Director and PE

Jordan Hunter - jhunter@responsiveed.com

I have been in education for 5 years. I have a General Studies degree from Central Baptist College, where I lettered in both Basketball and Baseball. I then went on to receive my Masters of Arts in Teaching from the University of Central Arkansas. I was blessed to establish and lead the athletic program and start the first basketball team here at Quest Academy in 2014. Since then we have seen tremendous growth in our athletic program and I look forward to seeing how it prospers in the future

EAST

Melissa Muse - mmuse@responsiveed.com

Melissa Muse is the EAST facilitator for Quest Academy. She also teaches keyboarding and Family and Consumer Science. She was a database administrator for a Fortune 500 company for 14 years. She graduated from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. She believes students often learn better through hands-on experience, so in EAST students learn more from “breaking” something and fixing it themselves, than being told step by step how to solve the problem.

Special Education

Special Education

Rachel Cordero - rcordero@responsiveed.com

Rachel Cordero graduated from Arkansas State University in May of 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Education, focusing in Mid-Level Education. Math is about exploring possibilities and learning about the world through numbers and algorithms. Quest offers a rigorous curriculum while accommodating the needs of all students. Learning is about making choices, and the goal of the Quest family is to make sure that our students receive the best education while learning how to make good choices.
