A charter school is a means to offer students an option to private school and an option to traditional larger school. We are on a smaller scale, as we only have 1-2 classrooms per grade level, which offers a safe, comfortable environment. We are funded by the state and considered a public school, which means we must follow all public school guidelines, including the Compulsory Attendance Law.
We closely follow the Beaumont ISD calendar.
Students at Beaumont Classical wear standard dress, a polo with our logo (Navy or Gray) and khaki pants, shorts, or plaid skirts. Ibiley Uniforms is our uniform provider for all your uniform needs.
A student must be 5 years old on or before September 1st
Parents must pack their children a healthy lunch every day, as we do not have a cafeteria program. We do offer breakfast and participate in the National School Breakfast Program. We offer a breakfast pack (cereal, milk, juice and an additional grain), that can be purchased or if a student qualifies, can be given at a reduced or free rate (depending on household income).
Parents must provide transportation for their children, as we have no transportation program. Our school opens at 7:45 am with school starting at 8:15 and dismissal time begins at 3:30. There are several after-school programs in the area.
We have zero tolerance for behavioral issues-students are focused on education and learning. We do not allow bullying or other violations listed in our student handbook. Discipline reports will be requested from the previous school on all students.
Absolutely! We are state accredited, the teachers are highly qualified, and we are state funded. This means we teach the TEKS and must give the STARR.
