For teachers and Parents if you are marking a child's writing on paper use a Markers key so that they have the ability to go through and fix up errors in their own work. For example in a sentence that has no capital letters you will write "CL" in the margin. The student can then revisit a specific sentence and insert the missing capital letter.

When students are writing in Google Docs, make good use of the comments feature. If you have a collaborative document, be sure to assign tasks and comments by using the “+” followed by their email address to ensure there is no confusion. You can also check the little box to assign the task, and if students have email they will get a notification!
