My name is Leah C. Muratovic, and I am so excited to be your teacher for the 2025-2026 school year! I am a graduate of Western Kentucky University, and currently continuing my education at the University of the Cumberlands for elementary education. I have worked in the Edmonson County School District for four years, and I am looking forward to continuing my career right in Brownsville!
I am originally from Elizabethtown, KY., however I am now living in the Bowling Green/Warren County area, with my husband, and dog, Ella. I graduated from Grayson County High School in 2019, and was a member of the Grayson County Marching Band/Colorguard squad.
During my free time, I like to drink a nice cup of coffee, meet with friends, and take my dog to the local bark park.
BUCKLE UP 5TH GRADERS... IT IS GOING TO BE A GREAT SCHOOL YEAR!!!
I am a firm believer of quality education. I agree that every child deserves the opportunity for valuable and productive education.
Since I was a young girl, I knew I wanted to be a teacher and some day teach in a classroom of my own. I have always had a dream and passion for teaching. I think of my teaching career as a "calling," specifically meaning it is what I have been called to do to serve a purpose. After graduating high school, I went straight into college knowing that I wanted to dedicate my time and studies to helping our future generations fulfill their dreams, like the teachers I had, did for me. My goal as your teacher is to impact your life positively, while guiding you on the path to success and being a mentor for great outcomes!
