Force Copy Google Docs and Slides

Force Copy Google Doc/Slides:

• If you are assigning an assignment on Canvas that is a Google Doc or Google Slide file that they download, you need to make sure that you FORCE copy the document.
• If you do NOT do this, then when a student types on a Doc or Slide that you have given them as an assignment, they will type on your copy and it will show to all students.
• By forcing a copy, you do not have to worry making sure students make their own copy...it just does it automatically!

Directions:

• To do this, all you have to do is replace everything after the last slash with the word "copy".
• You will then use this link when you upload the Doc/Slides to Canvas.
