Have a Fantastic Summer!
-----------------------------------------------------------------
September 9th - Anticipated First Day of School
All students who will be continuing with the Edmonds School District in the fall, are asked to keep their district-issued Chromebooks at home with them over the summer. We encourage all students to stay engaged in different learning opportunities.
For families leaving the district, we ask that you please contact the Student Tech Support team to schedule a time to drop off the device at the Educational Services Center, the district office.
Please check out the MDE Continuous Learning Site for summer resources and tools. Be sure to check out your child's grade for specific links, videos, and websites to support student learning over the summer. This is a great way for your child to continue their learning over the summer months.

No need to worry if your childs promoted to grade on their report card does not indicate the next grade level! Our Skyward system will roll to the next school year on July 6th, and students will be in their new grade levels. Until then you will still see the current grade level information!
Kindergarten Jump Start will not be held in August as originally planned due to the uncertainties with social distancing guidelines in the coming months. We will likely run a modified Jump Start program when school begins in September. As soon as we have more details we will contact you.
We look forward to seeing your kindergarten students in September!
To support families and students over the summer, we have compiled a list of resources you may use to review and reinforce learning from home. Our Supplemental Resources Site will be available through the summer.
We will have an optional, online summer school program for elementary (finishing K-6) and middle school students (finishing 7-8). The program will begin the week of July 20 and conclude on Aug. 14. Find more details on our website.
If you need technology support, please contact the Student Tech Support team at techsupport@edmonds15.org or 425-431-1211. Beginning June 29, 2020, summer hours will be 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Due to the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), children who are eligible for free or reduced-price meals at school will get extra food benefits. These food benefits are called Pandemic EBT (P-EBT). Families already approved for free or reduced-price school meals and have an EBT card:

A Song for a Cause
Sherwood Elementary School teacher Ryan Cariker and his wife Amanda are the musical duo Forget Me Not. Their newly released single “Sweetest Thing” is a special song with a special purpose. Throughout the summer, all sales and downloads of the song will be donated to the Nourishing Network. Listen to “Sweetest Thing” on our website and check out this article in My Edmonds News.
