Description:

The CSSC (Computer Science Support Club) is a place for students taking CS courses at Edmonds College or pursuing a CS degree from Edmonds College to meet, share experiences, and support each other. Various discussions are taking place all the time on our Discord server. General meetings, game nights, special interest seminars are held at various times throughout the fall, winter, and spring quarters.

Club scope & objectives:

• Support each other through tutoring, peer mentoring, and social interaction.

• Support CS learning through participation in local and online events, games, and challenges.

• Support the CS department through advertising and encouraging students to take CS115 and CS115 students to continue in CS as a major or minor.

• Support CS as a major and as a career for everyone, including first-generation students, students without prior programming experience, and other underrepresented groups.
