Welcome to the JMI PTO website!

About us...

The purpose of the James Madison Intermediate School PTO (Parent Teacher Organization) is to enhance the child’s school experience. We have general PTO meetings once a month to discuss events, plan fundraisers to enhance all programs, and share ideas.

The PTO depends solely on donations from its members to enrich the child’s school year. Through fundraising efforts, the JMI PTO supports the students in the following ways:

  • Through hosting events and activities like Popsicles in the Park, where families can meet the student's teachers and other their classmates' families. Others events being explored include like Thanksgiving feast, student assemblies, cultural programs, field day, class trips, year-end memory books, 5th grade moving up ceremony, teacher and staff appreciation week, summer reading program, and much more.

  • Organizing fundraiser events/programs like book fair, holiday boutique, Spiritwear sales, school dance, science fair, Lattes with Ladies (Mother's Day), Donuts with Dudes (Father's Day), and more.
