Career and Technical Education 

Mission Statement

The mission of the Career and Technical Education Department of the Public Schools of Edison Township is to ensure that all students are empowered to achieve their fullest potential by providing them with hands-on experiences and a strong foundation that considers their academic, social, and emotional needs. The courses offered as part of this department require students to think critically as they communicate and collaborate with others to solve real-world problems and apply career-ready practices as part of the creative design process. The department is committed to helping students see the connection between academic theory and application to the real world while ensuring that each and every student, regardless of individual differences, has access to the skills that they need to thoughtfully contribute to an ever-changing world.
