~ Grew up in a small town called Cando (Can-Dew), North Dakota

~ Elementary Education degree from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, ND with a minor in Special Education

~ Started teaching at Creek Valley in 2001

~ Master's degree in Reading from the University of St. Thomas

~ Family includes her wonderful, husband Tom and two, amazing kids-Sophie  and Adam 

~ We also have a sweet, Labradoodle named Dakota.

~ I love to spend time with my family and my favorite hobbies are reading, walking and yoga!

~ I have an identical twin sister and one older brother.

~ I love to see the excitement from my students when they learn something new!
