Hey! I'm a senior this year and I’m super excited to meet new students and help them be successful academically. I’m very passionate about Math, English, and Computer Science; I am particularly confident with Algebra, AP Stats, precalc, calculus (AB and BC), JAVA, Python, and essay writing (APULL!). I also tutor and babysit younger students on a regular basis so I really enjoy working with other students. I spent my summer organizing Camp Venom (a Free Python Coding Camp for elementary and middle school kids), so I have a lot of experience recruiting/working directly with people of various ages. Running this camp showed me how fulfilling and inspiring it feels to help others enjoy and feel confident in what they are learning. This is what I hope to find in this wonderful tutoring opportunity as well. Hence, I am really looking forward to learning myself while helping other students grow through this tutoring role!

Hello! I’m Shriya and a Senior at EHS.
My strongest subjects are Pre-algebra, Algebra, and Pre-Calculus. Since every student learns differently, I am flexible with my methods of teaching/ helping. A fun fact about me is that this past summer (2021), I helped my friend organize a Free Python Coding Camp for kids. It was challenging yet a fun experience and a great leadership opportunity. My passion is Psychology and Biology as well as learning to provide help, support, and care to those who need it the most. So, becoming a peer tutor gives me the opportunity to support, help, and guide students with academic challenges. I am very excited to provide help to those struggling with either Math or a little bit of Writing! Looking forward to a wonderful year!
