This year marks my 25th year of service in the Edina Public Schools District as a School Social Worker (10 years at EHS, 2 years at Cornelia, and now my 13th year at South View). South View is a dynamic place to learn and grow, and I love the energy and spirit of the staff, families and students! Please don't hesitate to contact me if I can support you or your student to have a happy, healthy and successful middle school experience.
Students know me as Mr. Eischens, Mr. Doug, Doug or Mr. E, and I'm OK with any of them. My hope is that they feel comfortable coming in to Student Services and understand that it's normal and healthy to ask for help when they need it, whether it be academic, personal or social issues. And if I can't help them, I'll hook them up with someone who can.
My office: Room 125, Student Services Office
My hours: 8:15am-4:15 pm Monday-Friday
