Leibniz Latin Project
LEIBNIZ LATIN TRANSCRIPTION AND TRANSLATION
Under the supervision of two university professors, I transcribed and translated some of Leibniz's never-before-seen 17th-century Latin manuscripts on calculus and binary. As a result, I created a universal Leibniz transcription key intended for future students (and AI) to quickly transcribe Leibniz manuscripts.
Position: Lead Researcher
● Worked with Dr. Harry Lewis & Dr. Lloyd Strickland to decipher 17th-century polymath Leibniz’s untranscribed manuscripts
● Translated previously unseen Neo-Latin scripts

● Led two fellow interns in acquiring and analyzing SEC filings
● Used BERT-based classification models to determine relevant text and LLAMA-2, a new large-language model, to analyze it
● Successfully scraped and analyzed over 500 SEC DEF 14A documents, finding relevant diversity information on each S&P 500 company

● Worked for the head of Data Visualization on file-type conversion and analytics for extremely large data sets
● Restructured hundreds of millions of genomic data points from .loom file layout to a comprehensive parquet-style form
