FFA is an organization where students study the importance of agriculture, and learn leadership skills. Students are taught to be more engaged in their community, how to take action, and be a leader. FFA is important because it gives participating FFA members a chance to learn the importance of the future. Members learn these skills not only by classroom activities, but by participating in Career Development Events. These CDE's teach students career and leadership skills they may need for the future. For example, the public speaking contest teaches students how to be more confident in themselves and other activities or CDE's teach students hard work does pay off. FFA gives students a chance to branch out and take a new journey, this allows them to explore something they may love. FFA and Ag class are more than just a class or club, it is a community that can inspire people to make a different, no matter how big or small that difference may be.
