Welcome to Edgerton Elementary!

Dear Parents, Guardians, Students, and Community Members,

Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year at Edgerton Elementary! We are excited to begin another year of learning, growth, leadership, and service.

Our theme for this year is “Paws-itively Awesome.” This theme reflects our belief that every student and staff member contributes something valuable to our school. We want Edgerton Elementary to be a place where students feel connected, supported, challenged, and proud to belong.

At Edgerton Elementary, we are committed to our mission of instilling excellence and preparing students to become leaders who are ready to serve in a global community. We want every student to grow academically, develop strong character, build meaningful relationships, and discover how they can positively impact others.

This year, we will continue strengthening the systems that support student learning. Our staff will focus on literacy growth, strong math instruction, targeted student support, and meaningful collaboration. We are committed to developing the whole child while challenging every student to become the best they are capable of becoming academically, socially, and personally.

We are also excited to continue building the Edgerton Edge leadership program for students in grades 3 through 6. Through this program, students develop communication, leadership, etiquette, service, and other life skills that will benefit them well beyond the classroom. Along with our school houses and other leadership opportunities, the Edgerton Edge helps students learn what it means to Excel, Lead, and Serve.

Families are essential members of our team. You can support your child’s success by:

Talking with your child about the school day

Checking backpacks, planners, and school communications regularly

Monitoring grades and progress through PowerSchool

Establishing consistent routines and strong study habits at home

Encouraging regular attendance

Setting high expectations while celebrating growth and effort

Attending school events and participating in our Parent Teacher Organization

As your principal, I remain committed to building strong relationships with our students, families, staff, and community. Open communication and teamwork are essential as we continue building a school that challenges students, supports those who struggle, celebrates achievement, and prepares every child for the future.

My door is always open, and I welcome your questions, ideas, and feedback. Together, we can make the 2026–2027 school year a “Paws-itively Awesome” experience filled with learning, growth, connection, and opportunities to Excel, Lead, and Serve.
