Meet the Teacher:
Meet the Teacher:
Dr. Nir Naaman is a saxophonist, composer and music educator. His album Independence was met with wide critical acclaim, described as “mature” (WBGO Radar), “enduring” and a “rare gem” (Jazziz Magazine). Nir has collaborated with leading artists in the US and abroad and appeared in noted festivals in Europe, Japan, and the U.S. Nir has participated in programs such as Lincoln Center Scholars, and holds a Doctorate of Musical Arts degree from the New England Conservatory.
Nir is very passionate about arts education and is experienced in teaching bands, jazz ensembles, composition and improvisation. Nir is excited to help students at Greenville and Seely Place find their voices in music!
