Career Academy Coach

As the Career Academy Coach at Strom Thurmond High School, I have the privilege of supporting students as they explore career pathways, build real-world skills, and prepare for life after graduation. With experience in the academy model, I understand the importance of connecting classroom learning to future success.

My role involves working closely with teachers, students, families, and community partners to ensure our academies are purposeful, engaging, and aligned with the needs of today’s workforce. I help coordinate hands-on learning opportunities, develop pathway-focused programming, and provide support systems that help every student grow academically and professionally.

Our goal is simple but powerful: to graduate students who are not only ready for college or a career, but who are confident in who they are and where they’re headed. I’m committed to building strong partnerships that enhance the student experience and strengthen the connection between our school and the community we serve.
