Hey Friends!

I'm Stephanie Humphries, an instructional coach at Merriwether Elementary. I am married with one daughter who is in graduate school at MUSC and also have three furry four- legged "children" who still live at home! My undergraduate dregree is from Lander University in Early Childhood Education and I have two Master degrees: one in Divergent Learning from Columbia College and the other in Language and Literacy from the University of South Carolina. I have taught Child Development, Kindergarten, First and Second Grade as well as been an Early Reading First coach for Pre-K teachers. I have also taught and helped oversee our local summer reading camp for the past several years. This is my twenty- seventh year in education and I am currently working with and supporting an awesome group of Pre-K through Fifth grade teachers and support staff at MES.
