Alisa Church

Hello. My name is Ms. Alisa Church and I serve students with the last names beginning with H - O. I am here to help students succeed with academics and to help them with any personal issues.

I obtained two degrees from Campbell University, Buies Creek, North Carolina , a Bachelor's of Social Work degree, and a Master's Degree in Education, School Counselor Certification. I also have Child Care Certification from Rockingham Community College, NC, and a Bachelor's in Bible from Holmes Bible College, Greenville, SC.

I have several years of experience helping youth, through the Department of Social Services Foster Care Program and Workfirst Program, along with various jobs in Group Homes for Children. Other experiences include working as a School Resource Teacher and Behavior Specialist. I have been a School Counselor for 16 years (all High School level), and enjoy helping students find their strengths and make goals for themselves as they pursue career choices.

Away from work, I enjoy reading, biking, and being involved with my Church. I have 4 grown children, who are spread out in 3 different States (thanks to the Military), and they have given me six wonderful grandchildren. I also have a cat named Grace, who gets most of my attention.
