Resource Room will provide remedial instruction and academic support.
Instruction will address the goals and objectives on the students’ IEPs, as well as support the general education class curriculum.
The goal of this class is to give students the opportunity to improve reading skills through increased comprehension, building vocabulary, and improving reading strategies such as decoding and encoding.
English is all about becoming an engaged reader and writer through student interest. We will work on improving fiction and non-fiction reading and annotating skills, supporting claims with text-based evidence, and paragraph & essay writing.
