1997

In 1997 I created "Line Eye-Tem Vito".  These were non-animated static cartoons that appeared briefly on the now defunct Weisenheimer.com cartoon website.  I guess you could say Vio lost that election.

2001

Turn the clock ahead to 2001.  I experimented using ClarisWorks on my Mac to hand-animate frame-by-frame a handful of the 1997 cartoons.  Way too painful to create, but it convinced me Vito should be animated and live in an ad-banner-sized world.  Still Vito had some restructuring to do.

2004 - 2010

Fast forward and Macromedia's Flash.  Perfect for animating Vito.  That is, until Steve Jobs and Adobe killed Flash because they could.  The main archive of webcomics were all created with Flash.

Today

Congressman Vito is still in hibernation somewhere in his office in the Cannon Office Building.  You never know when he'll wake up and more comics will be created.  I need a new platform now that Flash is dead.  Speaking of dead, it's redundant to invent humor about our current government.
