1. Log into your student Google Account.
2. In your student email, there will be an invitation email to join the Stephen Central Virtual Library. The Subject will be Classroom Invitation: “Stephen Central Virtual Library”.
3. Open the email and click the blue Join button in the email.
4. This will bring the student to the Stephen Central Virtual Library in a new browser (Chrome) tab. The Virtual Library is using a Google Classroom for the software platform.
5. It will look similar to the view above, except students will not have a Grades option across the top. Everything in the library is optional. Nothing will be graded. There will be responses to students at times. Sometimes the students may receive an individual email response.
6. There are messages in the Stream view.
7. The “assignments, quizzes, and material” can be accessed in an organized manner by clicking on the Classwork option above the Stephen Central Virtual Library banner.
8. In the classwork screen, there are topics, such as Staff Interviews, All Students, etc.
9. Within the All Students topic, videos showing readings of the Blue Spruce books are listed. Students can also find some Blue Spruce activities in this section.
10. Students/parents are invited to explore the information in other sections of the Virtual Library as well. The topics are listed on the left side of the Classroom window. Students can choose to participate in any activities/questions that are posted in the Virtual Library.
11. Regularly, Ms. Wondergem will post one or more new videos/links/activities in the virtual library.
12. Students will receive an email in their school email account for each new post to the Virtual Library. Please explore and enjoy the Virtual Library!
