I enjoy historical fiction and murder mysteries. I love learning about social history, particularly women's social history, so a lot of what I read are period pieces about women. I also enjoy a good murder mystery - like the classic Sherlock Holmes type whodunit, not horrors or thrillers.

Alas, although I do not have enough time to sit and read a book, I drive a lot. So, most of the books I "read" are actually audiobooks. I have learned that I love audiobooks, especially when the accents match the characters. It adds so much to the "feel" of the story.
