Which quadrant do you fall under? Most teachers would rely on guesswork or intuition when planning for their students. At Telopea we have worked hard to have all staff fall into the Impact quadrant where we use Data (Evidence) and the Spiral of Inquiry (Action) to have Impact on student learning outcomes.
2023 - 2027 School Improvement Plan
As part of the School Improvement Plan we are aiming at Excelling in the element: Data used to focus and drive collaborative improvement and evaluate impact on learning. This will continue our Data journey from 2021 and 2022.
At Telopea we have looked at data through our class placemats, triangulating and creating interventions at a group level. Within the South/Weston Network our colleagues at Alfred Deakin have also looked at individual student level. In Term 2 professional learning session please take the time to choose three of your students that you have found either a) difficult to report on, b) perhaps above the standard of the rest of the class or c) a student scoring straight 3s or 4s.
