Hello Students and Families,
I can’t believe we have reached this time of year already. Thank you for warmly welcoming me into the school from Term 2. I have thoroughly enjoyed being a member of this school community and truly appreciate the support and kindness shown to me. Our school community is one where learning is fun, the pride children show in their learning is inspiring, and the school continues to amaze me every day.
We are excited to announce that we are increasing our classes next year.

The Year 2 Graduation Ceremony was a wonderful celebration. The children were excited and a little nervous, but the day ran perfectly. Our students are ready for their next journey, and we wish them all the very best as they take this important next step.
Sadly we farewell a number of students and families this year. Thank you to our families for your commitment and support throughout your child’s journey at IPECS. We have truly enjoyed having your children learn and grow with us, and we wish them every success and happiness as they continue their journey at their new school next year.
Next year will see the introduction of School Captains at IPECS. School Captains will proudly display the school PRIDE values, help others, support teachers during school events and whole school gatherings. School Captains will also lead the Student Representative Council (SRC) to support me in leading initiatives, sharing student ideas and opinions ensuring the student voice is heard and valued.
Earlier this week, a number of year 1 students ran for 2026 school captain. Each student presented a speech to K-2 students explaining why they would like to be School Captain and what makes them a good choice for the school. Following speeches, students and staff voted for 2 students.
Congratulations to all students who had the courage to participate in this process. I was amazed by the high standard of the speeches presented. It is with great pleasure that I can announce the School Captains for 2026.
