Using the Library

The Library is open everyday at break times for you to enjoy. You can enjoy a range of activities in the Library including:

Playing board games
Reading and borrowing books
Book Club
The Library Assistant Program
Anime and Chess Club
Debating Team

Borrowing Books

How to search for e-books, physical books and audio books

Oliver is a digital catalogue you can use to search our library collection.

You can access Oliver through Backpack.edu.au.

Sora is another great application you can use to access free e-books and audiobooks. Instructions on how to borrow e-books and audiobooks are here.

Loaning Rules

You have free access to our range of fiction and non-fiction books. You can borrow up to four books at a time for a two week loan period. You can also borrow up to 10 digital books for a 3 week loan period.

If you would like to borrow a book from the library, ask the librarian, teacher on duty or a library assistant to help you.

Book Returns

Return your borrowed library books to the red trolley next to the IT service desk window. Make sure you return your books on time as borrowing privileges may be suspended for any repeatedly late, damaged or lost books.

Book Requests

If you have searched Oliver and can’t find the book you are looking for, you can always place a Book Request through the Book Request google form on your Year Group Google Classroom page.
