Vaccine registrations open for 16 to 29-year-olds
If you’re aged 16 to 29, you can now register your interest for a Pfizer COVID-19 vaccination at an ACT Government clinic.
You can register your interest online through MyDHR or by calling the COVID-19 booking line.
Sign up at MyDHR and answer the eligibility question (you’ll need to have a current Medicare card that matches an existing patient record in the ACT public health system).
Once registered, you’ll be sent a notification when appointments become available. This will be when the ACT’s supply of Pfizer vaccine increases.
If you can’t register online, call the COVID-19 booking line on 5124 7700 (7:00 am to 7:00 pm daily). Use the call back system to save waiting on the line.
Vaccination registrations are only available for ACT Government COVID-19 vaccination clinics, not GPs or pharmacies.
As Pfizer vaccination bookings may not be available until October, many younger Canberrans may still choose to talk to their trusted health professional about AstraZeneca.
