BUMP Continuum
The BUMP Continuum is a proactive classroom management tool that fosters student autonomy and supports calm, consistent responses to minor behaviours. By clearly outlining behavioural expectations and using shared, student-friendly language, the continuum empowers learners to self-regulate and make positive choices in the moment. Its visual and verbal cues help deescalate minor disruptions without interrupting the flow of learning. When used across all settings in a school, the BUMP Continuum ensures a consistent and effective approach to behaviour management—building a sense of fairness, predictability, and trust throughout the learning environment.

PBL Tokens – Celebrating Positive Behaviour - Junior Site
At Gold Creek School, we use PBL tokens to recognise and reward students who demonstrate our core values of being safe, respectful, responsible learners. Tokens are given by staff when students display positive behaviours in the classroom and playground. Each class stores their tokens in a mini tower, and every Friday, Student Parliament members collect them and transfer them to the large towers located in the front office. This visible system helps build a sense of pride, teamwork, and community across the school.
