We know how important our own wellbeing is, and sometimes this can get lost in our day to day business. Here are some resources for families to support wellbeing and mindfulness.
Where to go for assistance
If you, or any of your family, are finding the lockdown tough, please reach out to us at school and we can direct you to support networks.
For students in ACT Public Schools
If your ACT public school children and young people require extra help and assistance, our school psychologists area available to provide support through telehealth. To access the service, a booking request may be made via an online form or by calling 6205 1559 between 9:00am and 4:30pm.
Community Resources
There are a range of services available for the ACT community to access if you need to reach out for support. ACT Health has pulled together links and phone numbers for these services.

The Australia Psychological Society has a range of great factsheets for general audiences, particularly coping with change during COVID-19, tips for coping with coronavirus anxiety, helping children transition back to school in the COVID-19 era. There are also three factsheets with tips for supporting students with learning difficulties and disabilities during online learning.
Reachout has resources for teens with a main homepage for COVID resources including resources such as dealing with constant change due to COVID-19, dealing with uncertainty during coronavirus, stress about studying during coronavirus.
