The acronym STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mechanics. Students at St. Marguerite attend the Learning Commons for 25 minutes per week where they can explore these skills using robots, i Pads, computers Lego, K'nex etc.

Here's a fun Fathers' Day STEM challenge. Make your own toolbox just like dad's using and old shoe box and some cardboard!

SPRING STEM CHALLENGE - Build a bird's nest using twigs, leaves, popsicle sticks, feathers, pipe cleaners, or old newspaper. Add hard boiled eggs, wooden, or plastic eggs to make it look like a real nest! Don't forget to send me pictures of your work!
