CANVA

In Ms. Tanner's class, students used Canva in order to create a final project about a book read in class. Students uploaded images to represent different aspects of the book.

In Mrs. Knight's class, students were able to choose from a variety of presentation formats in order to show their learning regarding different types of cells.

PREZI

In Ms. Jolley's class, students created a Prezi based on a state they were researching. Students then shared these with their classmates in order to collaborate around different geographic and cultural aspects of the states.

THINGLINK

In Mrs. Jonas' class, students shared a family food tradition with their classmates and did so through Thinglink in order to provide more information regarding their tradition.


GOOGLE DOCS

In Mrs. Jolley's class, when working on a long-term project, students used this document throughout in order as a self-assessment tool for their learning targets.

In Ms. Hoem's class, students used a graphic organizer to synthesize their vocabulary. As part of the assignment, students had to use their Chromebooks to take a picture that demonstrated the word.

In Mr. Zataray's class, students used Google Docs as an anticipatory set to a story being read in class. They used the drawing tool within Google Docs in order to create an emoji that represented their emotions conveyed in the paragraph below.

In Mr. Mahlke's class, students using Google slides in order to analyze text and show their learning.

In Ms. Hoem's class, students split into groups and studied one of the body systems. Students then created Google Slideshows with ThingLinks embedded. They then created quizzes for the students using Google Forms. Check out this example!

In Ms. Jolley's class, students practiced mapping skills and geography vocabulary using a Google Slideshow to drag and drop words and images into their correct location.

In Mrs. Young's class, students created slideshow presentations to show their understanding of their vocabulary. They then presented these to the class in order to test their class' understanding.

In Ms. Zugazaga's class, students analyzed their experimental data by comparing and contrasting digital graph representations and their hand created graphs.

In Mr. Zataray's class, in a unit on economica students created their own businesses and used Google Sheets as a way to list all of the items they wanted to sell and then found the production cost for each. They also used the graph too to show a visual representation of the costs.

In Mrs. Knight's class, all unit plans are created using a Hyperdoc format wherein students are able to access class materials and assignments through the document.

GOFORMATIVE

In Mr. Schumacher's class, students took their final exam on Formative and he was able to get results in real-time and provide immediate feedback.

NEARPOD

Both Mr. Schumacher and Ms. Jolley have used Nearpod as a way to present information to students while formatively assessing them along the way. This allows them to get immediate results for student understanding and further modify and differentiate their instruction.
